We are honored to be selected to create the brand and relaunch of TaylorTrain Training & Transformation! Marilyn came to us wanting a new, gracious and authentic design for her Wordpress Site.

It was a privilege to design a new brand identity, from strategy to logo, to art direction of custom photography to copywriting and website design.

The end product is a heartfelt and symbolic match to Marilyn’s intellect and creativity, and the energy and wisdom of her company and her team.

Our Approach

We went back to the basics, asking big questions about what makes TaylorTrain special. We worked closely with Marilyn to create a clear brand identity and messaging that ties TaylorTrain directly to her organizational values and mission. We then refreshed the brand with a modern look and feel that honors its legacy while making it relevant for today. Finally, we redesigned the website to better showcase TaylorTrain’s impact and inspire people to engage with it.

Problem

Marilyn Taylor’s previous website and logo were dated, and did not reflect the character, experience, and personality of Marilyn nor her consulting business, TaylorTrain Training & Transformation.

Her logo lacked differentiation, and her website lacked smart navigation, industry excellence, and clear offerings. She wanted to connect more authentically with her industry and client base.

Marilyn Taylor, CEO,
TaylorTrain Training & Development

“Our brand redesign was developed with great attention to our clients’ needs. It is a beautiful and poignant reflection of our purpose and mission, and our website both educates and inspires. That matters to us.”

How did your passion for your profession begin?

TaylorTrain was inspired by a combination of experience and family ties. I’m a self-professed “lifestyle entrepreneur” and also co-own the commercial property which houses TaylorTrain.

How did your education help prepare you for owning your own training company?

I came from a family passionate about education and lifelong learning. After finishing graduate school I was encouraged by colleagues and family to launch Taylor Training & Development, known locally as “TaylorTrain”.

What is the hardest lesson you have learned in your business?

Grit and grace are co-equals in business growth and success. As women, we are fighters and know tenacity well. As leaders, we must learn to give ourselves grace along the way.

What do you wish someone had told you when you started out?

It’s ok to choose a meaningful lifestyle over a passion for profit. Loving your work should be an outgrowth of living a full and generous life.

What have you gained in your life from pursuing your goals and succeeding?

It is a privilege to mentor others in our field… and to build leadership succession for those headed our way. And, it’s humbling and rewarding to be able to give back to the community that has supporting TaylorTrain for so many years.
